Thread: Something a bit different? MCM/MCH
Thinking about trying MasterCH/MasterCM/???
through on there novice BH and your set for fun factor.. you have your MCM for dot's heals and rez's(if group), and you have MCH for all the fun things you can do now with pets solo or grouped and the fun time collecting pet skills etc.. and then if you don't want to do any of that, with novice BH you can do the npc mark kills for loot and such.
The combo's a really nice one to have fun with and still be effective player in PvE.. and quite interesting fight i'm sure in PvP.
but dont forget even your pets wont be able to tank mobs if you let of a ranged/area heal the mob will be on you in seconds and well ch has no deffence bonus as far as i know

hmm problem i see with mcm mch is that its 2 support profesions and i think you would have a hard time confronting mobs over lvl 60 well at least a very long battle would be good if you only fight in a group though

i was master ch, and having just dropped it, i can verify that it's pretty usless (unless your willing to grind out 5-10m xp AFTER spending endless hours searching for an exact pet). Cm would be nice for heals, but any mods over levels 70 will give you quite a run for your money.
I'm a master BE, was master CM now in process of converting mCM to mCH and so I have about one tree of both CM and CH and it ROCKS - even with only a TINY bit of CM and CH each! I'm level 40 (BE doesn't give you much) at the moment ... I can call:
1 level 24 BE pet with 7K health and 250 max damage
1 level 30 droid
1 do deuterium toss then poison the thing
you can imagine the damage that those 4 'support' attacks lend to my pistol at that point !!! Mostly I fight with my husband and other guildmates and it's great to send in the pet and it leaves me hands free to provide medical support. If the critter turns on me, I just heal myself really quick ... course you have to be careful that all his friends don't set on you.
My goal is to finish unlocking my jedi - grind up my new character to master BE / master smuggler and keep my main character as a master CM/ master CH ... which leaves a lot of scope for playing the game ... then when I finally finish all the content (if ever) I can maybe grind up jedi - if i feel like it - without losing my BE ![]()
As a BE, I'll be able to tailor make my pets to suit every occasion - I can choose the skin of the petto suit the occasion and usually pick small / med sized skins so they don't get in the way of a group. Which is one complaint that people have about CH's - you don't HAVE to have the big pets and in fact myprobot is a bit more annoying than my cat for getting in the way ...

this is a fun and varied template.....lite on the damage potential in the end but with the new pet system it may be possible to hold your own in PVP with your pet specials and debuffs/poo flinging.....combine MCH/MCM with a novice ranged profession to be able to hit something at least....
one big downside at the moment is the long and complicated grind involved to get the really powerful specials on a high lvl pet.....time will tell the story for me on this template..........
