Still trying to find a template that offers enough "Different" things to be fun..

Thinking about trying MasterCH/MasterCM/???

Anyone try this? Seems like it could offer decent support to pets.. Heals of course, but the Slow, dots etc could help them out..

Any opinions from anyone that has tried this?

I am curious about this combo as well. I ran into a MCH/MCM last week and she LOVED the combo. As a MCH/MBE myself, I can definitely see some advantages to having the debuffs and heals. One question I have though, having never been a CM of any degree.....how is the healing? I see all the debuffs, but I am not sure the strength of the heals. If I respec to this, and I think that I will, it will be with the hopes of enhanced healing capacity for my pets on top of the debuffs....and the additional 20 combat levels it will add to my template.

Wow... that'd be pretty unique. I'd really like to see this template in action.

I have been a MCM for quite some time, and the heals are pretty nice... I believe my big heal was about 1300'ish... Plus you have the Toss, and the AE heal. I do miss the Bacta Infusion Heal over time, however, but thats mostly playstyle.

One of my characters is MBE/MCH now, and while BioEngineer is nifty, I honestly dont understand alot of it, so dont think I am getting all I can out of the profession, Plus I truly hate not being CL80.

I am going for jedi, and the Scout, CH xp conversions are much more attractive to me than the 30:1 combat xp, so I figured I would try something different during that grind, and with the re-vamp of the pet system, I'm curious to see how a high xp pet can preform.

through on there novice BH and your set for fun factor.. you have your MCM for dot's heals and rez's(if group), and you have MCH for all the fun things you can do now with pets solo or grouped and the fun time collecting pet skills etc.. and then if you don't want to do any of that, with novice BH you can do the npc mark kills for loot and such.

The combo's a really nice one to have fun with and still be effective player in PvE.. and quite interesting fight i'm sure in PvP.

hmm problem i see with mcm mch is that its 2 support profesions and i think you would have a hard time confronting mobs over lvl 60 well at least a very long battle would be good if you only fight in a group though
but dont forget even your pets wont be able to tank mobs if you let of a ranged/area heal the mob will be on you in seconds and well ch has no deffence bonus as far as i know

Bothans are rarer than jedi
that makes me sad =o

i was master ch, and having just dropped it, i can verify that it's pretty usless (unless your willing to grind out 5-10m xp AFTER spending endless hours searching for an exact pet). Cm would be nice for heals, but any mods over levels 70 will give you quite a run for your money.

I have MCM/MCH and i love it. With the new pet changes I have more content (i find it fun to grind the pets unlike the constant complaining about not having instant pets). At this time i don't due the big damage but can't expect that from every template. There seems to be quite a few creature templates to play with that seem like fun to combine with combat medic abilities.

funny you should mention it, i just respecced to this template on one of my alts about a week ago, Its really fun and provides lots of content, I also wield a junti mace that can hit pretty nicely with just mellee hit, mellee strike, and lunge( what else would i have done with those xtra skill points anyway?) I was soloing rancors so its really not bad against tough mobs as long as you dont get more than 2 on you at once. if need be you can have your pet tank one while you kill the other. I think the best pet you can get is level 65 but it works pretty decently and their dmg isnt bad at all especially combined with the poison / fire/ and mellee hits.

I'm a master BE, was master CM now in process of converting mCM to mCH and so I have about one tree of both CM and CH and it ROCKS - even with only a TINY bit of CM and CH each! I'm level 40 (BE doesn't give you much) at the moment ... I can call:

1 level 24 BE pet with 7K health and 250 max damage
1 level 30 droid
1 do deuterium toss then poison the thing

you can imagine the damage that those 4 'support' attacks lend to my pistol at that point !!! Mostly I fight with my husband and other guildmates and it's great to send in the pet and it leaves me hands free to provide medical support. If the critter turns on me, I just heal myself really quick ... course you have to be careful that all his friends don't set on you.

My goal is to finish unlocking my jedi - grind up my new character to master BE / master smuggler and keep my main character as a master CM/ master CH ... which leaves a lot of scope for playing the game ... then when I finally finish all the content (if ever) I can maybe grind up jedi - if i feel like it - without losing my BE

As a BE, I'll be able to tailor make my pets to suit every occasion - I can choose the skin of the petto suit the occasion and usually pick small / med sized skins so they don't get in the way of a group. Which is one complaint that people have about CH's - you don't HAVE to have the big pets and in fact myprobot is a bit more annoying than my cat for getting in the way ...

this is a fun and varied template.....lite on the damage potential in the end but with the new pet system it may be possible to hold your own in PVP with your pet specials and debuffs/poo flinging.....combine MCH/MCM with a novice ranged profession to be able to hit something at least....

one big downside at the moment is the long and complicated grind involved to get the really powerful specials on a high lvl pet.....time will tell the story for me on this template..........
