Everyone is well aware of the hate drawn by healing. I have thought about this in detail, and I think I know what needs to be done. Lets take the average Rifleman. Lets say he shoots for 2000 hit points before damage mitigation. After damage mitigation, lets say hit lands 800 points of damage. Now lets look at healing. If I heal someone for 1500 points, thats it. I would suggest applying that same mitigation to the heal points when calculating the amount of hate.

Not a bad idea. It seems like grouping with hard-hitting jedi is the only way i can escape "the hate"

Yea, but what I find really dumb is that when you're fighting a braindead bantha it can still tell whos healing who and charge at it in an organized attack.
NPCS doing this? Sure. Mobs doing this? Hell no!

They claim to have added a 50% reduction to hate back when they bumped up healing.. I don't have major problems with it, unless I bacta spray on a base raid.. that can get nasty.

good idea. Although I find the hate generated towards us by healing a tad annoying, I also find it useful sometimes for controlling MOBs. It allows me to remove aggro from the tank and give them a breather allowing me to tank with my heals for a short period of time, while the tank picks aggro back up. It is precarious though. The biggest problem is when you want the hate you can have it, when you want to heal, you dont need the hate, sort of a double edged sword.
