Thread: Combat medic vs. Doc. How well do the specials of CM work?
Hmm,
Well as a Doc/CM I can say that the largest heal is deffinatly the Doc's Bacta Injection, the Bacta Jab be a short term shot to keep you alive until you can inject again. Infusion is good if you can get it on earlier, a ticking heal, but it struggles under decent damage. But all these are single personheals. The Bacta Spray is great for two things, mass healing and aggro
Also the range on Bacta Toss is a life saver in a group some times, also a decent heal.
Doctors have the drag incap, as a rez assistant tool, I can not praise this skill enough. Doc's Rez is also better but not by enough for me to poke out my tounge and go Nah Nah ....
That is it on the heals side, I will not even bother trying to compare Nurotoxins and Deut Tosses ![]()

kinda wish we had drag incap cuz tbh i see doctors as ppl who hang back in tents
healing people and stuff while combat meds run around picking ppl up and healing em
on the battlefield or just behind the front line

Bacta infusion is probably the best opening heal you can throw on a dedicated tank. By itself it ticks at a decent rate but wont stand up to a steady stream of damage. However, it does a great job of augmenting instant heals while your tank is soaking up damage. You get about 1 or 2 ticks in between hits which add ALOT. You can almost consider it a mitigation effect.
I recommend getting the basic level one if you can. Its well worth it.
