Do Combat Medics get a bonus to the rate at which they heal/shoot.

Ie, is there a difference between doctors/combat medics shooting and healing.

Combat Medic Effectiveness looks like it only applies to a healing modifier when

using ranged stimpaks. It would make sense that it would also apply to an increased

rate of healing/shooting.

In all honesty, I realize that I pretty much know the answer to this question, that

it doesn't, so I guess I'm disguising this question as a subtle suggestion. I'm

not real interested in being a spokesperson, and there are probably other things

on the burner that concern Combat Medics, ie our Poison effectiveness, but

it is something to think about. The ability to heal slightly quicker and resume

shooting, would be a boon.

My current understanding of the way the system works, is you shoot, wait your

weapon delay, heal, then wait weapon delay, shoot again. My simple suggestion

is to decrease delay between shots by the percentage of your Combat Medic

Effectiveness. Ie, if you are Master Combat Medic, with +75 Combat Medic

Effectiveness, with a weapon with 2.0 delay, you only have to wait .5 seconds

after shooting to heal, then you wait 2.0 seconds to shoot after healing as normal,

saving you 1.5 seconds.

Nothing incredible, but would be another nice way to differentiate between

CM and Docs.
