Combat Medic Archive

Could some explain the pros and cons between being a combat medic and being a pistoler/Doctor? I'm confused.

CM can use ranged stims, Aoe heal grenades and diseases and poisons..

Doctor can use stim but not ranged ones. They revive, buff, cure disease/poisons. They are also incredible at healing wounds...
