Combat Medic Archive

I just bought a mouse droid, which to my understanding can be used as a medical droid. However, I am still new to the game and have some quesitons.

My most obvious question of course is, how does the medic droid work. By that I mean how do I use it..I hear people talking aboutmedical modules and I do not know what they are either.

the mouse droid has to have been made with a special module to serve for that use. examine the deed in your datapad and if it does not list a medical or medical crafting module, your mouse droid is not able to serve as crafting station or to enable you to heal outside camps/hospitals

After you call your droid the first time (so it is in your datapad) look at its stats in the datapad. There it should say it has the medical module listed, and that it has some value for medical something (I forget the term). Anyway, that means that when you call your droid and have it near you, you can heal wounds as if you were in a camp or hospital.

Click on the droid and do store to put it away for travel or to recharge it. Note that you can only call your droid in town or camp or in your house.

You can also program your droid and give it a name. Go to program on the radial menu and choose, say, "stay". A "?" appears in the chat box and over the droid, which means it is ready to learn the command. Type "Tobor stay". A "!" appears in the chat box and over the droid, which means it learned the command. Do that with 3 more commands, "Tobor come" "Tobor patrol" "Tobor follow", etc. and you droid will now be named Tobor.

I don't believe the modules are listed on the deeds. You have to actually use the deed and get the droid in your datapad to see what modules it has. So beware the false advertising.

Thank you for all of your help, as soon as the server comes back up for wonderhome I am going to try this stuff out in the city and see what can happen. I know it has those stats when I checked it, or atleast had a medical stat of somesort . But now that I know how to command my bot and give it a name I am greatful.

I just can't believe how many people are naming their bot Tobor , I know its robot spelled backwards and all but you would think someone would come up with a funny name for their bot. Well to each their own, if all goes well I will be a doctor before the day is done.

Tobor was the name of an evil robot in a really old sci fi movie, hence the popularity. My mouse droid is actually "Tweeky" and my healing DZ70 is "MedBot". I tried to get "MedBot2000" but it wouldn't let me. I might rename him though. My brother had a cleric in Camelot, so I might name the bot after his cleric.

I'm also going to rename my mouse droid to "BuyAugroMeds" and have him patrol around as a moving billboard.

I spend a lot of time crafting, so I keep MedBot out and touch up people's wounds as we are all hanging around the crafting stations. The MedBot floating over me helps draw them in.
