Thread: Can a CM at 4-0-4-4 be effective?
WEll can a cam with skill set at 4-0-4-4 be effectve in pvp and pve? Is the +20 or 25 at master make that much of a difference?
I'm talking damage wise, example how much would a poision do at master and at 4-0-4-4?

What? 4/0/4/4? Are you talking about 4/4/0/4 where the 0 is at the crafting or 4/0/4/4 where 0 is at Combat Medic Speed?
I don't advise to not to have any speed considering your healing, attacking are all based upon the delay of your combat medicine speed rating.
The most logical tree to not to learn is the crafting tree which will leave you 4/4/0/4. Even so, the huge drop off of+25 to your combat medicine use, effectiveness, speed and range does not warrent the sacrifice.

I am talking no speed, Im looking at this from a pure damage point of view... how much damage do i lose from not having master?
You're loosing 25% effectivenss to your overall damage. With that said, you're poison will do Base * 1.65 damage, thus if you poison has a base effectiveness of 200 then it'll do 330 damage per tick vs. 380 (base * 1.9) damage per tick for Master, a drop of 45 points damage.
Now,if they fix the effective to full 100, and depends on where they put the extra 10% at, the scenario will vary. If the developers feel that the +10 effectiveness should be added to the master Combat Medic, then you're looking at an additional loss of 10% damage, and using the same formula of 200 base effectiveness, then you're looking at a drop of 70 points damage. That is taking the wrost case scenario for any non-master Combat Medics. A lost of 35% damage of your most powerful weapon, which will pratically force majority of dabblers either out of this profession or become Master Combat Medic, unless for a few hard core players that are willing to ensure the lost of 35% damage.
In my opinion, I feel that the extra 10 points of effectiveness should reside in Master level because it award those who are focused and dedicated to this profession, as oppose to those dabblers.

Tsu how do you com up with the 1.65 and 1.90 ?
As master Combat Medic you receive 90 effectiveness, which is a 90% bonus to your damage. That's 1.90 to base effectiveness. And have 4/0/4/4 or 4/4/0/4 you get 65 effectiveness, that's 1.65 to base effectiveness. You get +25 for effectiveness at Master level.
