Thread: What i hate most about the CM Forum
Screen shots: I think the poison hit some 56 people, the disease 40 some. I must have had smaller range on that pack.

Remember that all you need is 1 legal target. Pets, NPC's, someone that you're duelling works fine too. And uhh, it's totally balanced, and anyone that suggests that is a dirty whore.
Play like an idiot, and you're almost balanced. Play smart, and you're the dirtiest class in the game. Informative enough for you?
Dude, screen shots mean jack, seriously. We all know how easy it is to modify screen shots, there were people creating screen shots of Jedi before the professionwere ever inthe game.

Sure, if you get a group of complete morons, andstand them ontop of each other, then it's possible, but most people are smarter and wait to have the giant orgy after all the enemies are gone...DON'T STAND ON EACH OTHER AND YOU WON'T ALL GET POISONED
If that is a un-doctored SS, then those people have got to be the stupidist players I've ever seen...Either that or you had them all stand close to prove a point.
The only other explanation is the LOS bug with bases. If you hit someone outside the base it will ignore LOS and hit all inside as well.

No I was not saying it is impossible, I am saying that you are a liar with your supposed screen shot.
I have tried using my AoE heals in a packed cantina and I have never been able to heal 40 people. Heck I have never been able to heal over 20 people. Either it tells me that many of the people cannot be healed or my computer crashes from the strain.
The fact is you would have to get 40 people in what? A 15 meter radius area to effect them all. Nice of you to get your guild to stand still for you long enough to make that stupid screen shot, either that or you did it back in the days when you could throw through walls and you hit a bunch of people in a base.
Ultimately though, what I am saying Adune is you are a bald faced liar and posting you screenshots here means nothing. Pamela Anderson's boobs are more real than your screen shot!

Ballsy claims. Some of you CM's are seriously such PvP noobs. On Bria we have GCW fights with some 200 people. The CM rules supreme, and we abuse the hell out of them.
The screenshots are real, undoctored, and among the people hit are top rebel PvPers on server. (I know, I know, it says something about them doesn't it?)
I'll take a look at the packs I'm using tonight. From memory, the AE poison is Range 40, Radius 23, potency 120, and I can't remember the last stat. The disease is range 38, radius lower, I think only 18 or so.
As for getting that many people together, it's easy. Go on a base raid. Attacking an enemy base, or liberating a taken base give you plenty of opportunities to hit this many people. On base defense, when the enemy has taken your base, you clone, go in covert, target someone that's lagged out, or AFK inside the base. /declare, hit them with poison, then disease 3 seconds later. Ta, da, 20-50 people poisoned & diseased. The TK's might be able to med it off, and the docs can probably cure themselves, but thanks to lag, they won't cure many others before incap hits. Then you take 5-10 buffed people, and retake the base. *yawn*

The saddest thing here is that I don't even consider myself a Combat Medic, yet I play the class more effectively than the "real" combat medics. I only have the class on an alt, because it's completely sick & broken, and so easy to abuse. I grab the alt out for GCW raids, and keep him in the box the rest of the time. No armor, no weapons, just AE poison & disease packs. Stop being small minded, and recognize how to abuse your class.
As for the guy that says we're useless 1v1, here's a quick lesson. You're running around overt. (If you have the balls to do so) You see a red dot. You pop on your bike, get to 80m, /dismount, toss disease, /mount. Wait a few seconds, repeat with poison. Run around on your bike. Wait 20 seconds, /deathblow. Gee, wasn't that hard. If they're a TK, you simply don't bother unless you also have a weaponskill. If they're a doc, it depends. Switch to 88m single target mind poison, whip out your Jawa (You have Rifle 4, don't you?), and keep at max range. Every time he cures, toss another single mind poison, and headshot in the meantime. He's got limited time to heal himself, and every heal is costing him mind. All you need is 1 tick on the poison, and he's screwed, because the single should be ticking for 500+. YOU CAN THROW FROM 80m+ on single target packs. How the hell do you lose PvP when you can hit people from longer range than they can retaliate? Some of you need to think more.
