Thread: Rancor Bile... good or bad to use.

Today, a buddy of mine went hunting Rancor on Dathomir and happened to pick up a large quantity of Rancor Bile. I know it can be used in the schematics for Poison/Disease, but is it really worth it?
He managed to pick up 10 bottles of Exception Rancor Bile... all the same serial number. Stats on them were Power 11 - Charge 345. Now... does this mean that the rancor bile will multiply the base power of the poison/disease by 11 and increase the charge ammount by 345? That would be some really sick Poison if I am thinking of this the right way.
I have never seen another single bottle of Rancor Bile of this quality, and wanted to get some imput on it before I went ahead and attempted to craft some Poisons out of it.
Any imput from you folks is appreciated.

godamn....lol 345 charges!?!
they generally suck for most items...i only use them for the so called "cantina meds" for diseasing pets, entertainers etc.
with normal rancor bile (power 5, charges 90) my disease packs have 90 charges without me experimenting on charges at all.
345 charge rancor bile will be crazy, in a non effective way lol. the range and power will suffer if you use rancor bile.

Haha... Ok... so when I use Bile, it affects range of the Poison/Disease? Hmm... I'll have to experiment with some lower end ones I have.
Oh... Last night my buddy came back and gave me another shipment. Power 14 Charges 88. In terms of Power, that seems pretty nice.

Rancor Bile will give many charges, a small (very small) increase in power but a VERY small range. If you want to use rancor bile make sure they go in poisons that you intend you use in PvE. Rancor Bile isn't that great but it's alright if you don't care about AOE effects or range.

How much would you pay for rancor bile? What would be a fair price? Someone always offers me some and I always like to tip for their trouble. How much would be a fair price for bile?

I pay approx 3k for each rancor bile I buy on Farstar.
Another question, I know the bile replaces the dispersal mechanisms... are there any other loot drops that can replace infection amplifiers etc... ?

I got this idea today to use Rancor Bile with that Dunkawah (I keep calling it this, not sure if its the right name) poison from Endor. You'd get massive amount of charges with good potency!!!
Currently on the path to make the best Poison and Disease on naritus!!!
