Combat Medic Archive

I am retiring from the Combat Medic profession. It isn't entirely due to the latest nerf,although it didn't help matters any. I originally got MCM to get more involved in PvP ,but I soon discovered that even with an effective template I wasn't having much luck. I have come to the root of my problem. I suck at PvP. I sucked as a noob and I still suck a year later. I am also cutting way down on my play time and PvP requires more time than I can currently give. The profession is a fun oneto play and got a raw deal,but these things tend to work themselves out eventually. I hope the severity of the damage the nerf bat has done to CM will be repaired for those of you who are dedicated to this profession. And in the rare instances that I can be talked into going overt, feel free to poison and disease me to your hearts content. I wont get mad or send hate tells. I'll just laugh and say "oh well". Ive said it a bunch lately,so that's why I titled this thread that way.

No, not for Doctor. I am going to a pure PvE template again. I might even pick up CH again just so I can keep that nerfed feeling Ive come to enjoy so much.

I highly recommend Ranger if only for the fact that it is an unbelievably close community. I was a Master Ranger and I still check in with them just to pick up my spirits.

I am sad to go but I think I came to the profession for the wrong reasons, so it's probably for the best. I did have fun while I was here though. That isnt something I can say about every profession Ive done in this game. My problems were not with the profession, they were purely my inability to adapt my playstyle the way I wanted and CM gets dropped as a casualty of that. I just wanted that extra clear for those who have been CM's forever and will stay CM's no matter what. No insult was meant to you guys by my "Im leaving" post. I really wrote it to make the decision real in my own mind more than anything else.
