Thread: CU Development .... your thoughts as CMs

I have been a Combat Medic Rifleman since I began.
I have never once wavered from that.
With the new requirements for Rifleman in the CU it appears I will not be able to hold on to my chosen template.
If this goes through I will be cancelling my account that very day.
Please pass this along to whoever pretends to care.

Two things to keep in mind
1) You have not seen the pre-reqs for CM yet.
2) After the CU depending on how you play your character you may not want riflemen. Each profession has it's roles to play and if you want to keep rifles thats fine, if not, just as good

Maybe my math is bad, how is it that you cannont be MR and MCM? The only change is that rifles now need ranged support, which CM needed anyway? Am I wrong?
NVM maybe your not MCM/MR, didn't really say what your temp was.

Exactly... Master CM will still (unless the reqs for CM gets bigger still be able to master any ranged Combat Profession. Know your template man.
I'm excited about the CU. Seeing as how wounds will decrease (which scraps most of our diseases) I wonder what our new role will be. Combat healing, of course, and with the loss of buffs that will be more important. But will we get any offense? I'm still hoping for states. I want area blind and area dizzy at the very least.

Ugh, I'm so embarresed. Of course I have the ranged support tree. I just saw more requisites to Rifleman and didnt reason it out. Chalk it up to sleep deprivation please, and my apologies.

I like boxers myself...
I just want to say that I think being a CM - anything, will probably be one of the coolest proffesions to play after the CU and I'm willing to bet that we will be in high demand. And that there will be alot more CM's rolled...which makes me glad I already have one and enjoy playing it so much...the way it was ment to be played..as a healer

With the doc's buffs not being as strong, wonder if they will some how nerf the amount of dmg our poisons do? Or just take the spider venom away. Cant see them allowing us to tick away at someones health for what we can do now after the curb. Wouldnt be much of a fight.
