This IS the spider that drops the venom, right? I've killed this thing 8 times in a row now and not a single thing has dropped--am I killing the right spider? These one hour down times are killing me...

You are killing the correct spider. My guild and I have killed him TONS of times, we've gotten venom about 4 times, and spider fangs 3 times. More often, he has had nothing.
