Arg I clicked Submit for my edit before the whole thing loaded. Anyway, I wanted to know if anyone here knows how to avoid incap/death from having poison and disease stacked on same pool without a doc cure (meditate heals too slowly). Thanks.

There are two ways I have been able to use to save my life in solo vs other CM situations:


1) Take off all armour, consume as much carnape and brandy as possible, and a muon gold on top of that. Depending on how high the poison/disease ticks are of the disease/poison, you may be able to have enough mind every 40 seconds until your wounds cap, at which point disease no longer ticks.


2) deliberatley walk around with capped out mind wounds. Mind disease will never tick on you.


Lastly, I don't recomend PvPing alone anywhere.

You can't get more wounds than your original attribute score.


If your mind is 800, then you can't get more than 800 mind wounds.


If it is a substat, then you can't get more wounds than the original stat - armor penalty

A disease still ticks even if you are maxxed out on wounds. It just can't add any damage though. It will however put you at the -1 when it does tick even if it's laid on a max wounded stat.


Then again a maxxed wound MIND only requires a butterfly fart to incap you anyway....or cdef pistol

Not quite... disease only effects (base ham - 1) So if I have 2800 mind, 1800 from buffs I can walk around with 1801 mind, 999mind wounds. Diseases laid on the mind will have no effect on me (used to contine to tick on battle fatigue, but this was changed with no explanation).


Disease is even more silly when applied to non-mind. I have 600 base health, with a 2400 buff I could care less about losing it. Disease is currently no good for anything but causing incap, aside from wounding for other classes to make experience, or slowing clone zerging if that comes up.

Correct but disease wont incap you at all anyway. Ok lets say you're maxxed out in MIND wounds and have a disease applied there. OK its staying at999 woundsand not incapping you but its still giving you battlefatigue. Now add in a Health poison and its keeping your unbuffed health at 1. If your health is at1 and the MIND disease ticks it will cause your Health to hit -1 even though the MIND cant take anymore wounds.It affects all stats when it ticks regardless of which stat is at 0 even if it has run out of a stat pool to tick on.


We discussed this a long time ago but I cant find the thread any longer. We pretty much figured that the disease ticking multiplied any white damage by a small percent due to the instant battlefatigue given when the disease ticks. Anyone else remember that old discussion or have any data from it?
