Hello all, i am really thinking about starting a Combat Medic to support in PvP and throw some nasty DoTs.
But, i am wondering what skills i should take if i want to be an effective support's men and be able to kill people and stand my own.
I heard they got State Heals- Which? Do they get DoT heals?
What would be a good melee combat profession to compliment a Combat Medic? What trees in Combat Medic should i take if im going to support my fellow players and to throw dots and stand my ground.
When do they get mind heal?
And add anything else i should know.

read the FAQ, read the skillboxes ingame, and you will find that no one knows what you should do
it is all about what suits you best.
(come on, make a little efferot

x4xx is when you get mind heal.
You recieve state cures (blind, dizzy, stun, intimidate)at novice doctor (a nice investment for only6 skill points). The only DOT cure CMs have is first aid for bleeds (gottenin Medic).
The bread and butter of your healing will be Area Stim C's. Keep some ranged single stims availible though since sometimes the area heals get bugged under laggy conditions.

If you're trying to go support go with a ranged (rifleman best) and CM 4/0/0/4 Doc 4/0/0/3. You can poison/disease/healstate/cure DoT's including fire and /healmind.
As a melee you dont have the option of standing in the background and still doing damage. As a ranged you get alot more flexibility in engaging and switching targets and pulling out of the fight to concentrate on an individual or group section.
As a rifleman/MCM I can let the melee engage THEN toss a poison to surprise everyone. Alot of the time people are so caught up in who they are fighting they dont realized who toss the blue ball of love. Headshot3 with a DXR-6B is also pretty nice to compliment a MIND poison and tack on a bleed.

4/0/3/0 Doc is what you meant. CM use and Doc Med Use are not the same line

A good melee profession to compliment might be TKM or Heavy Swordsman whichever hits the mind better with more efficiency and which ever you like better. TKM has a awesome dizzy KD. I am not quite sure on Swordsman I know their KD isnt as good as the TKM. Hope this helps

Swordsman doesn't have a KD but it does have 2 area posture down attacks which are very good. There is no decentfood agaisnt a posture down attack so you have to have it in your template or suffer unlike the TK knockdown which thakitillo pretty much makes you immune. The downside with swordsman is that the dizzy state can only be applied with 2handhit3 and it doesn't stick that often. Accuracy for swordsman isn't that great either and you're not speed capped at master. With the new FS stuff that's all changed now. Blows from a powerhammer to the MIND are devasting. Plus you can solo just about any nightsister type out there since you do kinetic AND blast damage. Unlike commando's
