Thread: Which HAM pool does a CM use to heal mind?

/agree They sound awesome and the CM will be ok after the first 1 or 2 but after a couple the wounds really start to hurt

They recieve wounds in mind as well. Not just wounds in focus and willpower.

Correct, every CM mind heal will wound all 3 blue bars (Mind, Focus, and Willpower) PLUS gives you Battle Fatigue.
Useful skill in emergencies, to be sure, but as mentioned you cannot heal your own mind and this skill is not to be used lightly....wait until it makes a life or death difference in the mission or dungeon (DWB, vette, etc). Get them to use blue milk, if possible due to stomach fill, as a mind damage heal until you need to use the skill.

It's mind. Before you start to get any ideas (OMGWTFACMCOULDHEALTHEMSELVESFOREVER!!1!ONE!!1) a Combat Medic cannot heal themsleves with mind heal.

Or pick up TKA meditate line to get rid of the mind wounds yourself.

This is the problem I see with a lot of CMs. Many of us are too unwilling to mindheal.
With mind buffs, decent brandy, and a set of high-encumbrance composite armor (works best if the encumbrance is just at or barely over your mind secondaries) you can mindheal all day without a care.
Sure your BF goes through the roof and you will max out your primary mind wounds in a hurry, but once you've done that does it really even matter? At that point there are no consequences for mind healing and I've found that even at 1000 BF area stims are still reasonably effective (with ~850 power). Your team will remain alive much longer with liberal use of the mindheal ability.

Another problem is that as the Battle Fatigue scales upward so does the damage done to yourself when you apply mind heals on other. Once you go over 100 BF, mind heal becomes suicide. And really it doesn't take much to get to 100 BF.
