Thread: CM usage at 75.

I can only go 4/4/0/4 CM because i wish to keep swordsman. Is it possible to get good area disease/poisons with a CM usage of 75? I found some really nice ones that take 76 usage.

usualy not hard at all to find poisons and disease with less then 75 cm usage. I would guess that these are where you sell most as a
crafting CM, after all there are quite a few dabblers running around.
Myself i use a 140 potency 343 efectivness mind single C, a 175potency 196 effectivness mind area C and a 161 potency 109 effectivness mind single diesase. These all work pretty nice for me in PvP as long as i don't go against someone with resistance buffs.
I've been looking for quite some time now for poisons and diseases with higher potency, but seems the people on my server is obsessed with
having high ticks on it =/

If you can find a nice friendly CM crafter they can easily make you decent enough single and area poison/disease well under 75 med use. I was master then 4004 untill yesterday and I had some very nice 365 effect singles at 56 care of a friendly 12point MCM. Sadly being Master Rifle/CM/Doc meant I had no melee defences so tended to end up on my back rather quickly, so now I have dropped CM after being in the prof for well over a year, to take some pistoleer trees for defence.

Yes. In the case of non-loot poisons, for example, a 90 CM Use area C will be around 240 effectiveness. A 75 CM Use of the same poison will be around 205 effectiveness. But you gain a huge amount of potency along with the drop in CM use, so even for masters, the 75 CM Use one might be a better poison for PvP.
My guess on the 76 CM use poison you saw is that the crafter was crafting to get potency up and didn't even notice that 1 more poison into ease of use would have pushed it into 75 CM use range, making it sellable to a far larger market.
