but it's my first ...

CM/Rifles...i'd like to try it, but i have one question which can be summed up as:

Is 3004 CM (vs 4004 CM) too weak for pvp?

The reason i ask, as I'm sure some of the veterans here have already guessed, is wrt m/marksman.

M/marksman grants +5 rifle speed, but doesn't leave enough sp for 4004 CM...

So...my option would be:

A) 4004CM, m/rifles, plusmaybe some doc or pistoleer defences

or

B) 3004CM, m/rifles, m/marksman and eat some foods

anyone tried either of these temps?

thank you all for your help

First they came for the Jedi and I did not speak out because I was not a Jedi.
Then they came for the Bounty Hunters and I did not speak out because I was not a Bounty Hunter.
Then they came for the crafters and I did not speak out because I was not a crafter.
Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me.

The best allocation of skill points would be to use the Force Sensitive speed (Melee speed for some reason affects the ranged weapons, ranged speed is broke). To cap you need +97 speed on rifles. That would be 3 boxes (+9 for a total of 99).

This would allow you to go 3/0/0/4 CM 3/0/4/0 Doc Mrifle

If you wanted to go with only one box in speed and get tapes for the rest you could get 4/0/4/0 Doc or 4/0/0/4 CM each has it's good points.

Why do I feel like this should belong in the Riflemens forum

sorry

Iwasreluctant topost this message, but sincemy question was to the effectiveness of a 3004CM i felt it was apt.

My immediate concern is that adding rifle speed tapes and getting fs is not an immeditate option for me - i'm having trouble finding the speed tapes and getting fs will take a while.

but you have definitely provided me with a plan...thank you

At 3/0/0/4 CM you do 1.5x the damage of the effectiveness rating of thepack. At 4/0/0/4 CM you do 1.75x the damage and get a few more meters throwing distance.

It's up to youto you decide the extra damage is worth it, the range increase is minor.
