I was wondering what the difference is between the two stims.

Uhm. Aside from a slight range difference the basic difference is that... well...One has an area effect, the other doesn't.

Ranged stims can be made more powerful that area stims, but can only heal one person at a time. The only reason I would ever carry ranged stims around is that area stims can be buggy and don't always heal your target, even when you are in range. I usually only carry area stim Cs and small stim Es.

Yes, good Area's are the way to go. Invest some money into a crate of 700+ healing areas, and you will be set for PvP, and PvE.

Ranged are also good if you dont want to heal the other group trying to out damage you lol.

Use them both, alot. Area of course to heal everyone, but range to keep me out of combat and still do a massive heal. Comes in very handy when someone is fighting say a jedi. I can hang back and with a good janta ranged, completely heal them while applying poison and the jedi can't touch me since I'm over 50m out Plus they come in handy in a big fight when ppl get scattered. But never leave home without some areas

Another good reason to have the ranged stims

we usually have someone take a pet with us into the DWB and the massive heals are great to help out the CH with on his pet without having to get really close

i bought a factory crate of 18x30 uses heal 694 area c's for 6k on dantooine

i bought a factory crate of 29x60 uses heal 1193 stim e's for 6k on dantooine

i'm set

Stim E's for healing people, preferably tankers and the such

Areas for ranged healing

Ranged stims aren't exactly great...I'm usually near my heal target, there is a long delay (for me at least)

, and these 1.193k heal stims should be enough to last for...i dunno

I have Area's in the 900's also. Ten points or twelve, they both cap the effectiveness. The only thing the extra points affect would be charges and a bit of range, not needed, but certainly nice.

I carry both, as area stims are sometimes unreliable.
