I heard we do pretty good jobs against these guys. Is this true?

Definitely not if he has a complete template and isn't stupid.
Rifleman doesn't domuch at all (since they block most ranged attacks). The CM part is good, but usually a CM will die before the Jedi can die from the stacked poisons, etc. (Hehe, I've tried a few times)

If you have very good poisons and diseases, maybe.
However, you would probably do better with CM combined with a combat profession in order to get that final hit (they're likely to run and heal when they realize you're stacking too fast), as well as defense vs KD, pikatta pie, a PSG, synthsteak and whatever else you can get to defend yourself. But generally you're going to be dizzied and KDed really, really fast.
This is assuming a 1 on 1 situation, because thats what I got from your post. In a group, this template is very useful against jedi, as well as effective against any other group and useful in every PvE situation.
edit: um... I misread your title as doctor/combat medic, and im too tired to change my imput lol... so in addition:
I was MR/MCM for a while. Switched to pistoleer, and I live much, much longer to keep tossin it on those jedi.

take tkm/4404cm if you just wanna kill jedi, unstoppable. You can toss faster than we can cure.

If someone says that we dont stand a chance (being that I have always been a MR/MCM for over a year) then they just dont know how to work it. It is possible. I know this because I took out 3 light jedi knights, and two light jedi sentinels on my own last night (1 vs 1 however).
Here are some tips to get you started.
- Get a smuggler to come with you and you buy a crate of PSGs. Have him slice the whole crate (that way if he gets an eff slice you will have a crate of 60+% LS psgs). If he gets encumb, delete and try again.
- Make sure you have Thakitillo in you, the good stuff 99+ KD def
- While you are buffing eat a synsteak. That way by the time you actually encounter a jedi it will still be in you, but will have digested already giving you an empty stomach.
- Pace yourself so that you can eat waffers if need be
- Neutron Pixie & Muon (whichever the situation calls for)
- Dxr6 rifle (try and get at the idea range) w/ snow cake.
- I suggest to stack MP-C, MP-B, MAP-C, on him and toss some HP-C and HP-B on him as well (since we all know if someone has a health and mind poison on them they cure the health poisons first, thus it would take 5-10 heals jsut to get rid of the health poisons and start curing the mind)
- Get a MD-C on him too, a good one.
- Burstrun food is nice to be able to run to ideal range and kite them.
Here is how I consistently destroy jedi. I mean I take them down faster than anyone I know.
- First Im fully buffed with my 60+% PSG on 2 brandy in me, and synsteak too.
- Right when I know Im about to fight the jedi I eat thakitillo and snow cake.
- I use the 45 attacks that the synsteak gives me as a buffer so that I can get off all of my poisons in this order. MP-C MAP-C MD-C HP-C MP-B HP-B
- Once the jedi start seein all the ticks and that he cannot keep up with the heals, he will start to run. Use this as your opportunity to hit him with suppression fire (since they have weak defense) or jsut spam headshot3.
- Try and eat the burst run food so that you can get to ideal range to better hit him. Remember as the jedi is runnin away that puts him closer and closer to the ideal range of the dxr6 (mine is +125 at ideal range) thus with the snow cake and the accuracy from rifleman, you will be nailing him
- Have a good "self heal" macro......(gotta have stims in the inventory for this to work)
/ui action clearCombatQueue;
/healdamage self; - Have a 50fil vercupti on hand for emergencies and neutron, and muon. ( i usually go ahead and eat the neutron if the jedi is holding a double blade but yet will hold off on eating spice if i see he has a 1hand (casue I do not know if he is going to flurry me, or headhit me))
- Also, if the jedi sees that he cannot KD you, he will try and probably succed in lunging you, in this case DO NOT TRY AND GET UP. Just soak up the damage and keep on your heals & poison tosses.
If you ever need a demonstration, come to wanderhome and pick a jedi (any jedi) and I will beat them. ![]()

About the ideal range bit, saber block is percentage based, so more acc won't do you all that much good, unless they are mdefend and have lots of ranged d.

but better acc will ensure you hit them more often, they wont have to block it if you miss!

I kill multiple jedi freqently, but I am generally grouped with other Jeid. I am MDOC/MCM. Usualy my guys have fresh resists and theirs dont.
