Can you use spider venom in disease packs?

Is it worth it?

Anyone have a rough guide to the final disease effectiveness with different levels of venom?

thanks

Yes, and most definately yes. I wouldn't use anything besides (good) Spider Venom for any type of my poisons and diseases. You'd need to make them to see the actual effectiveness of the disease. Depending on your experimentation levels and success a good venom with a power of 200ish will make a nice disease or poison, the base for venom is 90 however I usually don't waste my time with 90s. Iootnega's site may have some info on how to find out what it will tick for but the outcome of a single craft is dependant on you solely.

/disagree

I only use low end venoms for my diseases, because w/ the way the system is set up currently, you can only blackbar someone so much. figure out what level venoms you need to make a 1100 tick disease and use everything higher for psns - at a certain point making a disease more powerful is just wasteful.

I solo Krayt Ancients all the time with my Diseases. One just must have a strategy for keeping ones' distance from it.

Ususally takes me about 50 min. or so.

If I use my best CM resources, and a 90 power Fire Breathing Spider Venom, I will get an Effectiveness of about 180, and that ticks every 30 seconds for about 3900 wound damage. I am a 12 point CM. Meanwhile, I dodge, burstrun, and use my Dizzy Stimpacks (doc thing).
