Howdy,


I have been playing with my current live template on test, and I am pretty disappointed with the new Combat Medic, well the whole CU really. I was reading some threads on this board about how some people felt that the CM was very powerful in the CU. I dont know how someone could come to this conclusion? It really just boggles the mind, howsomeone could say that. I was killing off stormtroopers in Bestine playing with our abilities, I used the New Poison, New Disease, and the New Chemical Fire (the Enhanced Version Icon) on a lvl 25 Stormtrooper, I am lvl 80 M.Rifleman MCM, then turned my rifle on to 3 other stormtroopers in the area. Thinking that the lvl 25 Stormtroopers life should be over pretty quickly, I was wrong. After killing the other stormtroopers I turn my attention to the one I had put all my goodies on, he is only down 25% health? Not down to 25% Health but DOWN 25% Health meaning he still had 75% left, WT F.


Poison - has a very low tick dmg, at tops I would say 300, but with the way regen works in this game, its more like 50pts of dmg.

Disease - umm yea its worthless, does nothing that I can tell.

Chemical Fire - Read Poison above


Now the other little things they threw into ourbig shyt burger, are the debuffs. All of these have to be done at Point Blank Range, if you dont know what this means, it means you have to be close enough to hump the NPC's leg. Now why are we getting Battle armor instead of Assault armor, if we have to do most of our abilities at point blank range? And to top it off, healing now generates agro.


So lets say, you're in a fight, you need to go debuff the mob, so you run up, give it a few kisses on the cheek, in your Battle Armor, maybe toss a heal on the tank, then get buttslammed because you got agro.


I think all of your Spells should have a greater range than 2m, we are combat medics, we require Ranged Healing and Ranged Support as prereqs so lets put the RANGE back into the class. And while your at it, beef up our DoTs, they are horrible.


Our healing is really bad, but then I have heard Medics heal better than Doctors so maybe these are all just bugs. I hope they are all bugs.

Have you tried throwing DoT's with enhancers you can pull off the frogs? Supposedely they strengthen the DoT or heal depending on which one you use. They seem to be buggy for me though....can throw 1, but then I have to wait a really long time to throw another using the item. The normal skill still works while the heal-enhancer-thing is charging.
