Please inform me because I really want to nkow. A person who was 20 levels lower than on TC beat me because he could use fire poison and disease to tripple ioncap me. If this doesnt reek of inbalance I dont know what does.

Uh-oh...hear comes the flaming...
On a side note:
It seems that the enhancer packs have to be put directly into your toolbar for use. Clicking on the icon for the advanced ability will not utilize the enhancer pack out of your inventory automatically.

It also seems that level doesn't factor into PvP as much as it factors into PvE.
I'm glad there is still cause for whining about CM's though. That means I never have to retire.

The level system is disabled for PvP. PvP is the only place where equipment and chosen profession / specials still count more than your combat level.

In the same way that they can heal, and always have healed... now the little thing they chuck at ya has flames inside instead of cooling stim goodness. And seriously - poisons and diseases on Live work (and look) this way too.
As for the 20 levels lower thing - once again, on Live, a Master CM with Novice Rifles can easily kill lots of people in PvP by using uber-poisons. All the level thing does is tell you how many skill points they've invested in Combat profs.

This only is valid for PvP, though. In PvE, your skills get modified by your combat level in comparison to your opponents combat level.

I totally agree. I was trying to make the point in context of the 'and he was 20 levels lower than me' part of his message

Ever hear of White Phosphorus??? A form of Phosphorus that is very reactive with the air, basically is a ball of light if you throw it and will burn you alive if it gets on you down to the bone. There's your explaintation.
