although I enjoy the grouped aspect of playing I also enjoy solo. anyone tried this as a CM in the CU?
Curious if you were effective at attacking high level creatures?
As you all know we can solo pretty much anything now. But we can't go to dwb or the corvette missions.

You are not forced to group play in the CU, you can still go about on your own and kill stuff.
Not sure what you mean by not being able to go to the vette and DWB in live as I and many others wander around both places solo, often.

well it didnt' read confusing when I wrote it
... Guess I should proof my stuff more.
I solo all the time as it is now &CM is my only mastery skill with few other combat abilities.(Had to drop mdoc).
I understand your not forced to group. In CU things have changed though & damage is a big part of the equation. IEdamage dealt by hi lvl characters on an MCM ie. you. What I'm curious about is what peoples experiences have been in trying to solo. eh' just shootin for some dialog cause I was curious & haven't tried it yet on TC3. I guess i'll find out soon enough
.

Well, as combat is now level based you can pretty much determine the outcome of any PvE fight by the difference in yours and their combat level.
I could happily solo a mission 2 levels below me, but missions with MObs two levels above my combat level had me incapped quite quickly.
If you bear that in mind then yes, you can still solo stuff.

Thanks for the input. I've read a lot about the changes & experienced them on a PVP level (in test centers) but wasn't sure how a CM would fare out in the wild.
Sounds like it's possible albeit at a predefined "I know the outcome" level.
I always liked the unpredictability of situations & seeing how far you could get before getting killed or having to burstrun outta there. Good to know you can at least walk around without getting gangked in seconds.
