Thread: A little template help...

I hear that the CU is going live this week. I'm currently a Master Doctor, Novice CM (almost master), and novice carbineer. My question is: What will be the best two elite profs to keep out of those three? I know I will have the option to respec my character and I was wondering if I should move my Master Doc over to Carbineer and have a CM/Carbineer combo, or keeping going with CM and MD and add just a single row of Carbineer (up to any 4 box). I won't get to be on until Friday so I can't do this right away, but I'm going to use the time to hopefully get some good opinions on what I should do. I run a guild and need to make some money (hopefully post-CU buffs will be worth something) but I also need to be vaguely strong to help in guild battles.

Ho hum... once again... why not log into test centre and try out some different templates and find which is teh most fun for you.

OK I'll try that. Technically the combat update should make all profs equal, right? I doubt that's how it's going to work though...

Ho hum. Some people are on dial up and cannot downloada gig of data to try out Test Center.

Yeah, it's 3gb...


You'll just have to wait for your server to get converted then use the 12 free respecs to decide then.

I have been playing around with Master Doc, Master CM, and some pistols lines on TC. Now that i dont need master medic, I have 28 free sp to throw into other stuff. Some of those went into Scout for the Terrain Negotiation, and the others into pistols.


Master Doc/MCM is a deadly combo on TC. I can heal everything anyone trys to put on me, regardless of the power of my stims, I cna keep up with all the damage outputs of every profession. I havent tried against a Jedi yet, but I dont expect to win against a jedi, just hope to do enough damage against the jedi that he/she is forced to run...


personally, keep MCM/MD, and throw the rest into carbineer.

That's great. I'm really glade that my template is still powerful. I will try it out myself, but it sounds good. As long as I can still rival with most other proffessions I'm good. My main concern was that Doc would be usless, as in the cost of not having another combat prof in the template would out wieght the power to heal myself, but that doesn't look like the case.
