I have really been thinking of the proposed changes to the CM class that are being discussed. I don't play on the TC and Kave does, andis checking out the changes. I have my doubts but again I do not play on the TC. We have seen some good stuff since Kave took the thankless job so time to give him the benefit of the doubt.

My biggest concern is the CM class becoming a complete support class and very boring to play. I chose MCM/MDusing my doctor skills for support and Combat medic to enhance my support and then make me a threat in combat. My concern is they are slowly whittling away our combat potential and making a CM a range healing Doctor.

I don't believe that's the case. However, I do feel we are becoming a "ranged" doctor of sorts. But, in my humblest of opinions, I don't know of one doctor that can bring their opponent down to a 1 hit kill situation. I do believe the changes are for the greater good, it just means that we wont be able to toss an AE Poison in PvP, and expect to come back from cloning and be able to deathblow 15 Rebels/Imperials. We now actually have to do what it says in our name, which is Combat. I feel it's a good thing. Thats just how I personally feel about it.

I'm kinda nervous about the change as far as PvP goes, (Zarlor and Kave have convinced me that it won't change our style in PvE very much) but like you said, Kave has seen it more in action than I have. Maybe it'll turn out okay. I sure hope so. I also agree though, I do want to have SOME kind of viable combat skills. It is sooo frustrating sometimes getting missions for 1k because I only have pistol specialist while everyone around me gets missions for 3-5k because they've mastered an elite profession. CM is an elite profession too and I want people to at least say, "be careful, they do have a combat medic with them..."
