I am not a frequent poster, but I am a frequent reader. I see no need to post usually when all of my thoughts are already triplicated in other posts. But, I feel that I need to post on this.

First let preface this by saying that any replies that flame me, affect me in no way whatsoever. I could care LESS about the people on here who have thier panties is a twist because they cannot be uber PvP'er and angry because unlike in EQ, they could actually kill someone from half a mile away. I could care LESS about people who live on the boards and get thier jollies off yelling at some poor guy who is giving his time up freely to do a volunteer job. I could care LESS about some geek sitting at a computer who knows every star wars term by heart, knows the biography of every NPC in the galaxy, who is like Mandark on Dexter's labrotary when they make an uber poison. So that being said, and that you know I really don't care about you personally because this is the INTERNET, here we go.

Must we continually rip apart the person who has been chosen to be our correspondant? Man galaxies, you sound like a teen ager who just found out that someone is taking away his girls gone wild tape that he uses every night. Leave the poor guy alone. The first thing about this kind of leadership is that he answers to the DEVS, the people who make the game, he is a VOLUNTEER, which means he doesn't get a slice of your monthly payment, which means that YOU HAVE NOT PAID FOR THE PRIVALEGE to yell at him, so stop acting like you have done so.

This adjustment, i don't like it either, I do ZERO pvp because personally, I dont like that form of game play, sure call me a care bear, but I was on Rallos Zek too, and I went through the short militia like they were water, I lost my taste for it since it just leads to angry people. I like the system they have here on galaxies, because it lets people like me join in when the roleplay feels right, not just to walk up and say "bang bang" i killed you. Anyways, it will stink on regular mobs, but hey, ill pull out my rifle and incap the sucker when they are at one. If I die, SO WHAT RUN BACK FROM THE CLONING CENTER, there is no pentalty now.

If your arguments were not so personal galxies, I think that they would carry more weight, all you have done is to tick off the guy who has the power. I don't care HOW angry you are man, the way that you are speaking to the man/woman is very disrespectful, if you were more professional, then we could at least get behind you and support your suggestions. As it is, I find myself against you just by proxy, because the way you light EVERYONE up is just so low brow it is scary. The only reason it seems you are combat medic is to ace PVP against the power classes, shrug I dont see combat medic that way.

In my mind combat medic is an uber healer, forgive my slang for the people that think I am using elite language, almost a delta force member. As a combat medic, my priority is HEALING MY BUDDIES, and driving off the things that are causing them incap if I can. Combat medic SHOULD NOT BE A SOLO class!

I have read your suggestions galaxies, I really have, but man, it just seems you are angry because you can't strut around anymore, that your wings may be clipped a bit. That is your option man, and right, because you do pay for that portion, but don't blame this guy because he is working with the devs towards a solution.

For every post you see on this board, there are tons more that we CANNOT see in the correspondant boards, WHO KNOWS what was thrown around before this measure was taken, and frankly this issue is nowhere near as big as the content issues SOE is struggling with! They are losing people left and right cancelling their accounts cause they are bored. This issue is a fix that they can do for us, shrug it doesnt feel completley fair for me, but hey, I would MUCH rather have my mount and starship in game then deal with this 1hp thing.

To sum up: Treatment of people is so poor on this board. It is really a thing that I think we need to work on, it is not cool to light someone up because you are anonymous behind a keyboard. You would not even THINK of talking to someone like this in the real world. It seems to me that we should treat each other a little better on here, if you are angry galaxies, that is really ok, but expressing the anger like a two year old is something that needs to be changed. Express it strongly yes, but in a manner that is professional and respectful. There are so many advantages to that method, really I think that your suggestions would be heard and even considered because they do hold merit, but you have disqualified them from ever being considered because of you downright infantile actions.

Thank to the correspondants for the VOLUNTEER job they do, I do not agree with you on this issue, but I understand the situation that you find yourselves in, you can never make anyone happy.

The one thing however to our CM correspondant. Please don't respond with the idea of a voting thread, you are simply adding to this l33t doods fire when you do so. And it makes you sound like you are trying to gain support. You don't need to do this, your support comes from the fact that you simply need to tell the devs how we feel, which I know you have done. Please don't let thier personal attacks bring a personal response from you.

nice post chubby, but there are two things I need to clear up

1. I am a man.


2. I do not have the " power " infact the devs only have some of the " power " because they even have to answer to someone higher up.

I would like to change my description of your power, to the fact that you have the power to represent us in a forum that we have no access to, so I hope that identifies more what I am talking about.

well yeah, but no matter how much I get flamed I will still do my best to put both sides of the argument on the dev's table. To do anything less would be unfair.
