Well just wondering what people thought about these things.....

I am a combat Medic , I am a Rodian i will never have to most optimal Stats for the profession , but alas i supliment my abilities and become a pistoleer , ok heres what i have to say....

I think that combat medics should get revive! , ok heres why , docs were supposed to be the masters of healing right , they are! in the hospital they are the ones you look for when people want to get there wounds healed , they buff you, heal your disease ETC... but combat medics were supposed to be the Field medics , the ones who hang out right next to you on the battlefield , dont you think that they should know revive??? i mean yeah we can get it for a measly 20 skill points but....without that 20 points i cant master pistoleer, hmmm well i cant unless we get terrain negotiation , but thats another story....anyhow dont you guys think that instead of taking away some skill points because we allready require MORE then docs 29 more specifically , dont you tihnk we should get revive , hell even at master would be ok with me! i mean we all take doc to get revive anyhow , why not give it to us so we have more to work with ?

i have seen lots of posts about 'how strong is your poison / disease?'

what i would like to know is how strong your Area Stims are. i just now really started to get into crafting my own Meds because i have been able to gather some reasonably good resources (not great mind you, but pretty good) and i would like to know how good (or bad) the stims i am making really are. i've not had much of a chance to discuss it with other Combat Medics.

i am currently 4/3/4/4 and i lack the total experimentation of a Master Comat Medic, so my questionto my fellow Combat Medicsis this: i have made some Area Stim Cs with healing of 647, range of 35, and an area of 27 are these any good, or are they junk? i am not trying to sell them to anyone, they are for personal use. i would just like to know how much more work i need to do before i am making quality Stims worth carrying in my backpack

thanks for your time

Those are pretty good for a non-master. I wouldn't change a thing, just keep on the lookout for better resources (stat-wise) and when you get master they should be well over 700.

I got 773 area C's a while ago, but haven't been able to get anything over or near 700 in a long time... Also, those only have a range of 44m, so they suck

From my experience, anything over 700 is a bit of a waste on AE stims. Your bonus to healing added in with the base heal is more than adequate to support even the most well buffed groups. Considering a fully buffed player will regenerate a good portion of their damage, an AE Stim usually just "tops off"a group. Granted if there are alot of pets being used they can help a great deal, but for most pets I would use regular stims, pet stims or some beefy ranged stims. On my stims I usually go for charges and range once I hit the 650 base heal mark.

that is some good information Gnuut. thanks. i will keep in mind the 650 base and perhaps work on range a bit more. i hit 4/4/4/4 earlier today so i just need the APP (yuck) to make it to master

thanks again

i try not to bump up my heal too much, and my AoE stims have limited range (i use ranged stims for that).

i do havedecent AoE though (with range (22) < area effected (34)), so when i throw a stim i always heal myself and some folks to the other direction.

My area C's:

Power: 932
Range: 23
Area: 38
Charges: 48

My actual range I need to be from a target is 39 meters to throw the heal.
