I was pondering about alot of things with MCM. I think one of the main issues is that it is to easy to become one. Lets face it gues the exp to get what you need is really not that hard. I propose one way to hel "balance" the profession is perhaps by making the EXP harder to get. I think the healing speed and ranged healing, since they also effect poisons time and range, should also have an amount of poison EXp that you have to gain. so you must reach XP of # and then poison exp. Now as you know being a low lvl combat medic blows when it comes to using poisons. But lets face it. IT would greatly descurage those who intend to just use our class for PVP purpeses. And make it much more rewarding to be a Combat medic. Poisons are a main thing and i think should be considered for XP valuse. PLease no flammers im just want real combat medics or people who at least know some of the profession to awnser.
What do you guys think.

I don't believe MCM is too easy to get. The xp wasn't to difficult but it is very costly (resources and such) and skill point intensive. That and I detestcraft grinding (sorry tangent). Anyways, I think if you would want to switch up the xp a better idea would be revampthe trees. You could still have a crafting and use tree, but then have a range/speed tree combined. This frees up the last tree to be an offensive tree. Only using CM offensive skills gives xp for the tree. So you could get apply disease at one level, apply poison at another and possibly put in some other form offense. Nothing too powerful before I get blasted by everyone comlaining we are already too powerful. Maybe even a CM tailored weapon compairable to low level ranged weapons. Regardless it would slow the climb through the ranks of CM by adding a 3rd form of xp and require something more than area stims to make it to the top. Well just an idea...if I was really good at this I'd just dev my own game huh.

No need to put my name in the title, I'll read the threads regardless
As for the ease of xp gain, that holds true for all Medical Professions(almost all professions in general, actually). Should a change be made? Perhaps, perhaps not. There probably does need to be some balancing done for advancement rates across the board, but that may come later down the line. Or it may not show up at all, who knows?
If the CMs as a whole think a change to CM XP requirements is required, then I'll back that idea to the Devs.

I would support a minor revamp to the trees, but not a whole new type of XP. It seems to me that moving the terrain negotiation to the range tree and making that tree require combat XP instead of med XP would be a logical continuation of the ranged support line. IMHO combat XP should be used for at least one of the CM trees. This would slow down advancement for some (those who get doc first and level CM by buffing), and would reinforce the hybrid nature of the profession.
