I've been a master cm over 2 months and i swear even when i was master pistolier i hated pvp. Not shure if its just because im no good at it or i just have more fun hunting with friends or finding that 90% uber resorce spawn so i can mail it to my guild.

So my real question is, if you are a cm and like pvp do you craft your own poison and disease packs or do you buy them?

If you dont like pvp are you more the player type that tries to make the best dot packs you can and get a rush from making real good stuff?

I've never pvp'd as a CM...in fact, I don't pvp much because Im also a master doc meaning all I can have is level iv of one of the marksman professions...carbines for me.

I craft the best poisons/area stims I can and use my CM toon to support my guildies in the epic events like DWB ( I used 60 850 power area stims last DWB we did and that was in about 30 mins).

CM is an awesome weapon if you have enough pts to master an elite combat profession. Buying the poison/disease packs can be hideously expensive.

I came from playing EQ as a cleric and hated not having ranged heals asI was climbing the medic tree. That is what made me want to be a CM, it was not till much latter as a cmI discovered the power of the poisons. OnceI started PVPing I have found it less fun then hunting with friends or doing quests. I practice at PVP in caseI get TEF but that is more about defence and not some allmighty CM PVP powertrip. I personly would rather be a frontline healer then a suside bomber.

I don'tPvP. I craft my own packs. I make the best packs (whether Doc or CM).

I'm not a huge fan of PvP, but it's nice to be able to disease the hell outta someone when they start shooting in the MC. That's the sole reason I wanted to be a CM. Just a decent way to keep myself safe (or at least remain vindictive).

I pvp quite a bit with my MD/4404 CM, although I have pvped alot with my MCM/Carbineer and M Pikeman/ M Carbineer toon as well. I love to PvP and CM is very fun to play

. I like pvping with my MD/CM character as much as with my M Pike/ M Carb toon, although I cant really solo anything with MD/CM.

As far as crafting goes, I wish I had enough sp to M CM so I could craft poisons/diseases again. I craft all my Doc meds but really miss the CM crafting aspect. Making a super poison, then tossing it on a group of people is soo much fun

I PVP quite a lot, I never make my own poisons however as I don't have enough skill points for the whole tree so I didn't take any of the crafting aspect.

I find it great for PVE too.

I enjoy PvP and really loved killing people when I was CM/Master artisian lol(always wore my artisian badge). I always craft all of my own goods from my 60/950 area stims to my 120pot/500eff/19r mind poisons. Once you get a good poison on their mind they become useless in only a couple ticks. At which point you can have your way with them

. I did a 2 vs 1 duel just for the fun of it as a CM/Artisian. we were all unbuffed and I had nothing but a wrap on and still won lol.

pvp isn't too pleasant to me...i more enjoy healing my buds on hunts and pitching in for damage with my t21.
