i dont' care about dot's, i don't care about disease/poison, i don't care that it goes through defense, i don't care that there's no 75% damage reduction, i don't care that it can hit from +48m. What i care about are COMBAT MEDICS NOT DEATHBLOWING and just letting the disease do the 3rd incap rule. That's just low and adds insult to injury.

As a cm normaly I dont db as I have no need for faction points. If they ask for a db and I'm not pre occupied I'll db dispite the fact no one dbs us when we ask

Unfortunatly, in a lot of cases but not all,the type of person that plays combat medic on my serveris usually the type of person that is in it for griefing.
I'm an avid PvP on my server, and to date I have never been DB'd by a Combat Medic. They are usually the first ones on my list of targets and go down with such ease its rediculous. My beef is with the aftermath of fighting with a CM... as a MBH Pistoleer dabbler what the heck am I to do after being strickin with the CM's poison/disease/herpies/whatever? So it usually ends very anti climacticly, with my slowly rotting down to 0 mind, and having some random lackey come up and clean up the death blow while I lay next to the dead CM i just wasted.... My one wish is that the poison/disease would die with Combat Medic, thus eliminating a large portion of the unskilled kills aquired by random CM's

You should try playing as a cm. CM's are the most griefed of all classes. No one ever db's a cm. They always triple incap him.

arggghhhh, you should respect each other and do each other the curtise of a DB. it's just simple honor I think. But that's my two cents. and my grahmar book, which I just threw out the window there, along with my Dictionary and Thesaurus. Or is grammer and Thesaurus same thing?, IM confused...........

Its the poor quality PvP Combat Medics have to rely very heavily on the poison/disease triple incap in 1 vs.1 or small group actions (i.e. CM/Doc/Rifle3). The others drop a single MIND C then headshot3 you to death.
Surprising though...you can miss with sniper shot...weird.

More of a question...did you happen to run away when you got diseased/poisoned?
That's what I do when I see someone run...just toss him a little gift or two.
At any rate, I heard 3 incap disease/poison doesn't decay anymore...can't verify it though

Never pvp'd as a CM but when I do, I will make sure to db folks as quickly as I can. Though there are some CM's who are griefers...another reason the db may not be happening is b/c the CM is dead him/herself already or is trying to area heal his group. A CM that is doing what he/she should be doing within a group should be doing as much area healing as poison tossing...that makes for a busy time along with CM's are usually targeted immediately.

You guys kinda miss the idea here..
3 incap isnt griefing when it is against a CM anymore then it is griefing when a CM does it to you. (Unless you are talking about lame theed pvp or such.) It is a tactic. Go visit a dictonary to learn what a tactic is. My intention doing that was always never about giving someone decay (unless they were a real moron), it was about keeping you out of the fight for a few minutes, allowing my group to win. SOE seems to like clone camping, and the style of gameplay that encourages "zerg" tactics, this was my method of stopping that cold. I have already kept groups of >10 3-incapped so the tef wore off before they cloned.
Call it what you want, you still have to call it a tactic, thus making it legit.

As a Master Doc/CM...I can't participate in 1vs1 PvP. As a result, I can only take part in group efforts. I usually stay in the back, lobbing poisons/diseases, and areastims when it looks like a teammate is going down b/c of health or action. As a result, it's suicidal for me to run through the battle to DB someone who is 64m away, thus exposing myself to the entirebattlefield of people trying to kill me.
It is sad though...CMs can't really get faction for PvP.

Yeah, it sucks, but unless the CM is also a rifleman, I can sort of level with them on this aspect. I mean, they're targeted even before docs are (yes, I know this, at least on my server they seem to be). So like the other person said, it's pretty much suicide to run out and db, because you probably won't even get close enough to db before you die, unless you're a rifleman. However, they do it to us, my bosses say do it to them, so most of the time I'm on body-watching duty for 3 incaps

the whole key is to keep the enemy out of the fight, andnot to DB them, using mind posion works great since it stays on ya.(i only disease the pricks that are unhonorable in a fight and when i do disease , i wil lhit every stat. just to prove a point). but in a fast pace pvp , you dont wan tyour enemyto ge tback up and get itno the fight. thats the reason for not to DB. (if your mind is spent -posion) and yuur incap, you sit up , and even then need to rest for a few to ge tyour mind pool back up to fight. All the presious down time can make a difference in a battle. (please notice i didnt say disease during a good pvp fight)
