Thread: Attn: Combat Medics. Beyond the Master box.

The idea is to be given the chance to become a Specialized Master Combat Medic. After Mastering Combat Medic and spending so much time holding the Master Combat Medic title, you chosse between Four specialites to focus your attention on. The specialties should be diverse (while staying balanced), allowing the player to mold their profession into their play style or how they interpet what their character to be. You may only choose one speciality though, thus making the Combat Medic profession that much diffrent. The purpose is Two-Fold...
To create a diverse amount of Players within the given profession (Combat Medic).
Reward those players that are dedicated to their chossen profession.
Please come to the below link. Examine the current example of your profession, read what others have said about how that profession should be done, and give your input.

I made a suggestion like this before but my thread got deleated


The one thing thats always bugged me is that once your master of your profession your technicly done and the only things that seperate you from every other crafter in your field are the quality of your resources and 10 - 12 exp points. Take two WS, ones been a WS since beta and the others been aWS for 2 days. Given the same resources and conditions, their products will be identical. I suggested giving crafters an additional tier of skills above master and the only way to lvl those skills would be time, lots of time.


The new skills could be anything:


aditional +mods on existing skills

shiny silver or gold armor plates for AS

new casings or different color blaster bolts for WS

anything to show that a long time crafter is truly master of their porfession




12 point AS, FS crafter, RIS Certified - active
12 point CM and FS crafter- retired

I think that would be a great way for the Crafting type of CM to get some sort of harvesting and or surveying ability. and anything to make us heal better is welcome.

Hey! Isn't this what they are supposed to do with Jedi? Would be nice to have a unique template from your standard CM. Sadly though it really affects the crafting aspect more than the combat.


Its really sad when you get to the corvette and a master CM is using single stimC's on each player instead of spamming area C's.
