Thread: Advanced Stim Components? Still offer benifit when only 2/3 used?
I've spent the greater part of the month running all over the galaxy placing harvesters on the resources I need to make advanced stims. As you all know, one of the resources required to make one of the advanced stim parts does not exits (y_fiberplast) so I could only make 2 of 3 advanced components.
I ran 100 advanced liquid susp and 100 advanced bio controllers in my factory and inspected the result. I was pleased to see that these components had roughly 2x the power as their normal counterpart. I combined these with a normal chem release made from high quality components to make 1 ranged stim D. I put all my experimentation into effectiveness and had a great success. I was disappointed to see that the healing power was not noticeably better then the non-advanced counterpart.
My question is, do I need to use all 3 advanced components to get noticeable improvements in my stims? Or should I see a great improvement only using 2 of the 3?
Thanks,
Mutaba
Ok, but as far as I know the advanced chem cannot be crafted because they mislabled the fiberplast in the schematic?

No you can make those. Advanced chem uses herbivore meat and petrol class 4. You are thinking of the shell delivery devices, those call for Yavin Fiberplast.

Actually fiberplast_yavin is a component of Advanced Dispersal Mechanism =)
