Thread: Im defecting from MBH to MCM, any advice?

I am moving from MBH to MCM and would like you advice on items I need...Macros/Droids/Factory/Harvester/Weapons/Resources/Cash needed to master etc etc!

Macros: the crafting macro everyone uses, several posts on the first page of the CM forums asking for it. Make advanced bioeffect controllers.
Droids: any 110 medical droid, which is optional unless you want to heal wounds in the field.
Factory: Food and Chem factory.
Harvester: all of them. Unless you have two accounts I dont think you have enough plots to place harvesters for all your resources.
Weapons: Pistoleer and Carbineer (for 0002 carbineer KD) are popular choices. I swap between a nice DH17 and a high damage/slow laser carbine.
Resources: Eleton gas and Class 1 radioactive are the most hard to come by on most servers it appears.
Cash: Lots and lots of it for resources unless you have a big guild backing you up with resources.
A few things you didnt mention:
Template: MCM, Doc 0440, Carbineer (or Pistoleer) 0302. MCM + some Pistoleer + smuggler 0040. MCM + Master Doc + a few marksman skills. MCM + Master Pistoleer (or carbineer, or rifleman). Those are the popular ones it seems.
Patience: need lots of it for the med xp grind and for killing high HAM mobs.
Immunity to grief: "U XPLOITED, U KILLED ME. I R GONNA PETITION AND GET U BANNED. F*** U NOOB." - no profession generates hate quite like a CM does.
A punching bag: Install punching bag. Place picture of George Lucas or a SWG Dev on it. Take out frustration on it. Preferably with a gun (or baseball bat if the neighbors dont appreciate the noise).
