Do you want zerging to be tactic in SWG?

For all those you don't know what zerging is, it is a tactic that was used in Starcraft. One of the races you could play could create zerglings. The zerglings could be created at very little cost and you could just send them over to your enemies inMASS to let them attack/die. Eventually they would overwhelm the enemy.

Right now you can hear of stories of 40 or morepeople in a force attacking a base and they all gettingdefeated by a force of 20 or less.

These are people that just get together with 40 poeple they never even pvp with, and try to zerg a base.

The thing that stops these ***unprepared players with a offensive class to doc ratio of 40 to 1**** is a CM

I dont think Sony wants this, hence the CM class. I think SWG is the first mmporg game where zerging just doesn't work in some sense (in SWG it works in PvE, but not in PvP)

So what I'm really asking is, do you want zerg attacks to be more efficient, yes or no, and why?

Good post. I totally agree. People whine too much about CM, but CM is the only class that can balance an issue like a zerg rush.

I know that they gave us grief as the defenders of a rebel base under siege by the imps about a week ago. My mind was poisoned to 1 point for a very long time. I think they are balanced a lot more now that you can't die due to poison or bleeding. I totally agree that they have become a balacing force on the battlefield and open the way up for some very advanced......gasp STRATEGY! when attacking bases.
