should combat medic be affected like every other combat class in the game? are you a combat medic?

Personally, I'd be happy with a 75% reduction...as long as it came after a 3X-4X damage increase.

ok 600 mind tick poison that75 DPS.. apply a 75% damage reduction thats 18.75 DPS... take a muon gold and your mindwill regenerate yourfaster than the poison could damage it. That poison could hit a 1000 people (thats 18700 per tick)and they'll still regenerate the mind quicker than the poison does damage.

you already do that.....you hit 10 people.......400 each a tick of damage.......thats 4000 a tick done on 10 people.....heck even 5 people thats 2000 a tick......in a 30m radius you will hit at least 5 people....especially in a base fight.....

In PvE my damage with Area Poison/Disease C's just bites big time, it takes forever to drop any big critters, just for-freakin-ever. I believe we already have a 75% reduction, just they forgot to increase our PvE damage is all.

You cant really compare the other professions AOE attacks with the combat medics AOE attack. The non cm area attacks are direct damage, not a dot. While the non cm AOE hits for more damage it only happens once. The cm AOE hits 20 times (Thats what i remember at least and if im wrong please correct me). Over the course of the infection they will do alot more damage then the non cm AOE.


What i would perfer to see happen is that the AOE poisons and diseases get switched to direct damage.

Based on a 8s tick, I thought it was a 10s tick. Your numbers would be correct if based on a 8s tick.


A Master Rifleman can drop your mind pool faster and in less time than it takes for the 1st poison tick.
