Thread: Question about comabt medics and radioactive.

I was told that Combat Medics use class 1 radioactives (also is this the only type you guys use), i managed to get 800k of this
stuff on the last shift and was wonder if its true or if i should just sell this stuff as power. (not mentioning server bacause im not
trying to sell this in your professions forum, so please don't give me responds of "post this in trades forum") This is just a question
of the need for this by the profession. it was the sourili or something close to that.. im not at home but i know it was something like
that but longer lol.
Any advice would be great.

Class 1 is used to make Advanced Resilience Compounds. ARCs are used to determine the potency and duration of our poisons and diseases. Depending on the statsand server you are on it could be a hot commodity to your local CMs.
Radioactive of any class with high stats is favored for use in finishing disease products. So save some of your Non-Class 1 HQ radioactive as well.

just make sure you don't have that in your inventory when you go recharge your harvesters/factories

Does this take effect if it's in a pack? Anyone know?

As long as it is on your person, it will use it if you power a harvestor/factory. The only safe place I have found is in your Droid's Storage Compartment. Very handy.

Definetly don't sell it as power. First off the PE isnt likely anywhere near what a class 6 or 7 might have.
Secondly, Im currently looking for Class 1 on Lowca, and having a heck of a time finding it.
As power you get what maybe 2 cpu?
As combat med maybe 5-10 cpu?
(Unless your on Lowca where its probably only worth 1.5 cpu, email me and Ill buy it all off you :smileyhappy

Yes I think every CM has made the mistake of powering a harvester with their Class 1 Radioactive, I could have just crapped my panties when I did it with all that I had. Never made that mistake again, I put it in the bank when I tend my harvesters.
And yes it is needed by CM, but the PE + OQ /2 = the real worth of the stuff

Thanks to all the replies.. this has answered alot of my questions. Im on the tempest server. Right after i posted this message the class 1 power shifted again, so im guessing its not that rare on my server hehe. The power i wanna keep i always put in my saftey deposit box. cause as i see there is no way to shield power.. i see no real pattern to what it uses.. ive tried putting it in a pack inside a backpack, ive tried splitting it to lower amounts thinking it would take from the lowest stack first.. its just awfully random hehe. Guess you could always put it in your droid for safe keeping.
