Thread: Combat Medics do not need a Fix

Look combat medics have been getting there AOE things fixed since the game started. I personally know cuz i have been one for like ages. Combat medics have not truly been to much tampered with since the game started. All those people who are crying for nurf think about this. All the other professions that have been getting hit have well over and beyond abilities by themselves not by stacking elite professions to make them better. Devs look at the tree as it is by itself not by seeing if it makes it better by dualing it with another profession. The reason every is so made is that you stack a MCM with agroup and it makes them really good cuz its a great support combat profession. Combat medics in the start everyone hated being one. I remember it was hard to see a combat medic everyone thought they were noobie. But now when we finally figure out our poisons and what we need you want them to tear all of us who took time to figure it out down. Geez how hipocritical. Look at the past couple of publishes if they really thought combat medic was a true issue right now than they would fix it right now. The devs must think something is good with MCM cuz it has not really been hurt in to many ways. PEOPLE listen you cant keep looking at professions by Dualing the MCM by itself is a very weak profession. No defences / Poisons cant kill/ deises are worthless in PVE. So pls stop it already. They just made a statement they think TKA is a balanced profession and are now working to balance the other ones.
What kind of balance are you asking for. I can get a jawa canon and hit someone consistantly doing around 120-200 dmg with the 75% reduction so fast that i can do roughly probly around 180 1.5 secs i would average. A poison hits you around every 4 seconds and if it is a good one that means it hits you for about 500 is an average one per say MCM. Now can someone tell me what is 500/4 hmmm i dont have a calc on me but i think thats somewere around 130 or 120 dmg per a sec if you want to say. So now think about that for a minuite. You mean that really its just the fact that Rifleman/MCM are such a great overlapping thing that you think MCM are overpowered. MCM was designed to be an awsome support combat. That means that if you are in combat and you see one run. I do heck i hate my own poisons on me but that does not mean i dont still fight. I just get a doc to heal me while we fight. I would like to see MCM get the ability to heal poisons i think thats a necsesity but im probly not goin to happen im just goin to take things and things come. I am very tired of the people crying wolf because they dont know how to get a real team goin.
I can kill a krayte with 3 people my freinds. WE work together and we can outdamage just about any group of 3 with how we designed our professions. SO stop whinning.
SOmething you want to whin about.... YELL AT THE DEVS for HOLO GRINDING PUTTING SOMETHING INTO THE GAME THAT NEEDS TO BE NURFED NOW. IM tired of seeing people grind to get a jedi. I mean geez people...... I think it is so dumb that macros and AFK people and grinders get all the benefit. I have mastered dual elite professions dont intend ont changeing never did. I love my character to much. As i think alot of people do. THey need to just nurf it tell the Holo grinders to deal with it like they do any other profession and then put the other system in as they get it in.

When you can poison through walls/ floors? When disease and poison does 200-300 a tick in wounds, not damage? That is excessive. Period. Although I dont want to see the CM nerfed. I want to see reasonable changes that will please both sides of the CM debate. You guys bust yer ass to obtain your profession.....you should be able to use the abilities youve been granted...just not through walls

Not a flame here, but why can I still be targeted and shot through terrain and yet I cannot throw over a small hill or a rock?
Sure I cannot see you through the rock, but you cannot see me and yet somehow I keep getting hit through the rock, the tree, the bush, and the ground.

You are absolutely right. Most nerfcriers are useing these as their excuse to nerf. If they fix the "bug" then let's see how "overpowered" we are. I bet it won't seem so bad.

You used a comparison to Riflemen who can shoot every second for X amount of damage. The problem is, they have a chance on missing. There is something called a dodge mod and missing. CM's are able to ignore this. They canthrow further then someone with a pistol and hit every time. That, and the throwing THROUGH a wall. You can't throw over a wall.. its a wall. If Devs cant change these little things then YES, CM's need a nerfing.

You're right Rhen. They should fix that too. It just didnt cross my mind because we were discussing combat medic, but yeah....firing through terrain needs to go too. Two wrongs dont make a right, lmao
