Thread: The Masses would not CRY NERF if CM's did not exploit

The nerf cries probably come from a completely unbalanced pvp combat system. Most non combat medics view this as a support profession, not a straight combat profession. As it currently stands a single combat medic has enormous dmg output potential in PvP compared to some of the other combat professions. My personal view is that none of the professions should be changed until the combat fixes for all the professions are pushed live and time is spent to evaluate them.
Also, it is not for us to decide which profession exploits the most,my opinionis people that would exploit are probably equally represented in all the professions. Unfortunately Combat medics abilities to exceed the 64m range limit, and dmg threw solids (walls, etc) gives the appearance that it is an intentional exploit all the time.
The bulk of the nerfcriers are min/max players who are outraged that their carefully crafted templates have holes in them when a CM appears on the battlefield.
Done in by a carebear! Oh the humanity!
Heh, I actually was replying to the original poster. the complete lack of a combat balance now in the near future means these cries will become more rampant, not less. I mean, if tommorow weaponsmiths could all of the sudden make fwg5's again just like the pre-nerf ones, following the original posters logic, these would all be exploited guns. It isnt exploiting, it is a broken combat system, don't complain about 1 aspect of it, complain about the whole thing, even things that might hurt your profession. I have in many posts said exactly where I feel our profession is overpowered, and I want people to have a better chance of resisting our stuff. Give people a base 20% chance of resisting, and change the system messages to actually show the player when they resisted the med, and the cries of damage reduction for pvp would disappear.

I never said the range of the combat medics nor the ability to pass through all walls were exploits, said they appear to be to your opponent. I am simply stating that until the combat balance comes out, then all this nerf/ no nerfcrying is pointless. And that the original post stating that less nerfs would be called if there were less exploiters is not a valid argument from my perspective.
Combat Medics exploiting ?! Whats next, carbineers?

This is your problem not the proffession. If the CSR's would ban the exploiters then this proff would be just fine.
