Thread: What does resist mean?

Someone stated on a thread that potency is how often a poison resists. Ok what does this mean? I could use some examples of what all those attributes mean (IE potency, effectiveness, range etc.) Also, if you could give me an end result of the numbers on a poison or disease pack and what this means to me the user. I looked for an FAQ and found one but it does not address these questions. I searched for other websites to look for these answers. Thanks for your help.
