...to an even greater extent thanks to the introduction of 2 all-new, must-have-for-pvp buffs. I'll feel kinda slighted if Agent001 doesn't drop us a nice thank-you note. Or maybe just some of the wealth.

Actually I am pissed about this and will not be producing any of the AOEcures.
This should be your purview. Not ours.
We should be able to make the innoculations last as long as our buffs though.

As long as you greatly sacrifice Resistance for the duration,2 Hour Innoc withonly a 10-15% resist, that would be a fair trade-off.

Cures are the area of a Doc. Combat Medic area is ranged healing ability, not AoE.
Now perhaps we will be able to have constructive discusses on how to improve the CM as opposed to chasing the trolls away.

As a full time crafting Doc, and former CM, I had much different views than what has been implemented. But the Devs only saw the "Nerf the CM's!" posts from the Jedi (notice how they left CM alone for months, even said it was balanced, until the Jedi got fixed and whined).
The "cures" shouldn't have infringed on the Doctor's cures, in that they modify the effectiveness of the poison/disease. Rather, it should have been an area "delay", modifying (extending) the tick time between poison/disease ticks. This should have gone to CM (Area effect, range) but would not have encroached on the Doctor's cures. In fact, it falls into the CM's role as a field medic/responder, giving them the ability to delay the DOTs until the Docs can heal the patients. This kept a role for CM's and Docs. Now, the only role is for Docs.
Innoculations are without a doubt the purview of CM's. They have to work with the poison/disease, it doesn't make sense that they can't protect themselves against it. Docs are already overburdened with crafting goods and a Doctor service (enhancing). CM's on the other hand havebasically no marketability for crafted goods, and no service skill. Innoculations would have given a great boost to their market and give them a valuable service skill. Now it's always "Let's go see a doc to get buffs, and resists" rather than "Let's find a doc for buffs and a CM for resists". Doesn't sound balanced to me
Docs now have all the healing, all the crafting, all the services. The only thing a CM can do is Mind heal, but only if they have a Healer Jedi with them dedicated to removing the BF and wounds.
It's a sad day for balance.

AoE poison,

And before this, Docs had AoE what?
Not even point blank AoE heals or state cures.
It's a matter of opinion, I've played both preofessions on their own and together. AoE belongs to CMs IMO.
Ranged AoE poison
Ranged AoE disease
Ranged AoE heal
We can turn this around and state that since AoE is the CM job, then the CM will should stand to lost the ability to use single packs. We can both argue are points until we are blue in the face.
Lets us agree that we disagree on this issue. We just need to find a common ground we both can agree on

But this will pass. As for the gloating, they reap what they sow.

true true....I really do view the folks that post in this forum are true cms and honestly love the profession...that's why...when there are no trolls (when was that)...this is the best forum .... our class is a class that sees combat and crafts....doesn't get better than that...
