I think the reason is basicaly as a novice CM your chances of actually succedding are low, master CM's seems to apply every time

Well, my chance doesn't seem low so much as non-existent. Even against CL1's.

try using shock first

I just got novice CM last night and I am having the same problem. Havent been able to poison anything yet.

It's good you can't poison things. Combat Medic is named MEDIC for a reason. You are a healer and Poisonis an offensive capability. focus on healing guys thats what u do on a battlefield. Poison should be a defensive resort to get people to back off.

Doctor is the healer.... the guy with the bulk of his skills tied into healing.... combat medic is in fact an offensive professiion... we get 2 heals and 6 debuffs......combat medic primary role is not a healer.

I'm having the same trouble with Neurotoxin. I'm a Novice Combat Medic, and I can't poison anything. It makes me sad...I want to poison stuff.

I got Chem Warefare 1 and was finally able to poison my first enemy. It was pretty cool watching that health just tick away,

same problem here also, i cant poison anything either always fails. Im 4000 CM .

I can't get it to stick either, I thought it was a level issue, me being lower in level than the stuff the guild group is hunting. I tried it later though on thing that were lower level and still got the "failed to apply" message

And to the guy saying "just heal, that's what you're there for" I love you guys that try to make everyone play the way that suits you. We were given the ability for some reason. People like you make people like us not want to heal your sorry behind, especially with the high risk of being incapped or dying...I have to like people to lay it on the line for them.

I am 3-3-3-4 cm and new at it tho as did it with respec from doc. I had a very hard time getting any at all to stick. Granted not real adept yet at skills but did use shock before too but nothing seemed to work. I am level 72 and went to kash with level 1 hehe. I healed but for some reason didnt seem to get exp for cm..how do you get cm experience?
