Thread: RAGE ??????

Walkin along i see a few sith hanging around the village.. i think they are up to NO GOOD, and decide to take them down for all the months of opression... i take on a few at a time being as i am a COMBAT MEDIC, and feel myself uber enough to do so... I usually take on a few while paralyzing and putting a lil fire on a couple just to limit the number of hits on myself, therfore keeping some mind pool!


I look to the other sith that are still attacking me, all of a sudden everyones STILL attacking me!!! Wait whats just happened!?!?! my "PARALYZE" has just been broken??? my one MAIN "CROWD CONTROL" DEFENSIVE MOVE is now rendered useless due to a COUNTER MOVE called "RAGE" ?????


I was thinking what the @$%&!! The one thing that really actually worked as far as controlling the flow of badguys is now rendered NULL and VOID!! A LOWLY SITH thug has thwarted my kill spree!! well, really it didnt!! I killed them all anyways BUT! Why is it when theres a move that actually starts to work that there happens to now be a counter move that NPC's will use most definately everytime!


Is this move something that "players" have as well?? and if so .. is it a high level move??


i even tried this theory out on a few low end creature MOBS and yes .. they too have "RAGE"


the only NPC so far that doesnt know how to use rage seems to be the GUNAGANS!! lol but we all know they are a little... Special!


anyways.. i just wanted to vent this lame move called "RAGE" and if you berlieve your NPC to be imobile then THINK AGAIN!!!

Is this "Rage" effect similar to the "Anger" effect?



It renders you immune to Daze Effects.



Basically it's to prevent people from endlessly spamming Mezzes. No more Startle Shot, Disarming Shot, Concussion Shot spam.

This is ok for pvp, it wont stem the tide of tears from the whiny jedi community. But i can live with it as a BH/Rifle/CM in a pvp context.. But for PVE, its detrimental to small groups that rely on their crowd controllers.. and just as i was getting my guys to understand how to assist and not break my mezzes.. thanks, if this isnt fixed soon i will terminate all 3 of my accounts. There's nothig to do thats any fun anyway. All the poi's are PoS's with low lev mob and no good loot. What am i supposed to do with my guild mates? How many times do we have to kill grievious and do the avatar? And now i cant hold down the crowd control to buy time for my bros. not gonna be able to finesse any more, now just brute strength and numbers.. Well you making it so ez to be a fully templated jedi i guess you dont need finesse. Sad state of affairs

Rage happens after concussion, stassis, and paralyze.

Anger happens after disarming shot and startle shot.

I was disappointed to see this "rage" as well down in the DWB, but after testing, a CM can still continuously paralyze if you reapply paralyze before it breaks. This is close as the ability re-use timer expires 1-2 seconds before the paralyze breaks on a mob. Im not sure if otherdazes can work this way, but it would be worth knowing.


If they enter a "rage" state it seems that they are immune to dazes for about 20-30 seconds (the ones I saw, not sure if it is accurate all over), and then they can be dazed again.

I see one problem with the sarcastic statement... Rage wouldn't really work for a "Jedi" it only works for "Dark Jedi"

just try fighting ewoks - they back to back startle shot and you never get angry, or raged...nice coding guys
