Thread: How good is mind heal?

I am a Doctor and i was thinking of also taking the mind heal tree in Combat Medic. I was just wondering if the wounds from healing with this skill are that bad and if its worth taking at all?

Some players feel it's a waste. I used to feel the same way till I used it in an emergency. Personally I have the ability to meditate the wounds away so now I use it quite often. Once you heal the mind wounds you are only left with a little BF. Overall it can make or break you.
If you only plan on taking CM 0400 for the mind heal then I'd say there are better ways to spend your points. Mind heal can be fickle and I've healed for 500 to 1300 mind at times. I wish the heal was a bit more consistent for the penalty we take for using it.

It's great, but I wont use it unless my party has an entertainer with us. I can only use it 5-6 times before I am totally wrecked mentally and useless as a healer to my party.
It is a great feeling, however, to see the party keep going, after they've gone through they're muon, fishak, vercupti, pate, whatever.... and they are about to get mind incapped...
