Thread: Q: Does A stack with B and C?
If you hit a monster with an A-pack, then a B-pack, then a C-pack, do the poison-bleeds *stack* or not?
The poisons stack, yes.
Please don't call them bleeds. This makes poisons easy to confuse with the weapon special DoTs, especially with the non-CM population.
The devs are hoping that people start differantialting the 2 by calling bleeds from weapon specials 'combat DoTs' and poisons 'medical DoTs.' This is especially true since they don't work the same way anymore.
No...it never has either

How about if you keep throwing c's on a mob? Do those poisons stack? (ie. you throw 3 C's on a mob will each have their own dot?)

Thankyou very much for your timely and thorough response. Obviously this is only worth it on the most long-HAM'd of creatures, such as Krayt's but its important to know, all the same.
I will never call them bleeds again ![]()
to make this slightly more clear, this is how i understood it:
for poison, as long as it targets a different stat (health, action, mind) OR it is a different level (A,B,C) OR differnet effect (single, AoE), it will stack...
ie) if i throw a single health C, AoE health C, single action C, AoE action B, etc... these will ALL stack.
ie) if i throw 2AoE mind poison Cs, they won't stack... even if they're from a different pack
for diseases, the highest effectiveness one out of each stat will stick
ie)if i throw a const. B and a const C disease they won't stack, and the damage tick would be whichever is higher (likely the C)
ie) a single and an AoE disease of the same stat won't stack
