Thread: Thoughts on SL / MC ???
I'm a master squad leader / master combat medic. I love it but it's probaby not for everybody. I primarly work in groups (and to be honest, when you're a combat medic / squad leader it's not hard to get in a group
) but I can also solo level 80ish very well.
Master Squad Leader doesn't really give enough bonuses to justify it but I keep it for the RP perpective.
As Squad Leader I mostly just use Rally (ona macro) and volley fire with the occasional need for form up. With combat medic, I'll toss a fire and poison. The biggest thing I like about those two DOTs (fire/poison) are how I can easily paint the target that I want everybody to attack and do a volley fire. I then will either spend the time hitting the MOB with my intimidator or healing group members on as needed basis.

volley fire = agro magnet
area heal = agro magnet
ranged single heal= whatever your heal target was attacking agros you
you know i really thoguht of adding a little SL for the heck of it .im a MCM/Mpistols but i know SL's get agroed a bit already with some of their specials...and CM'S get WAY aggroed and i hope they fix it SOON.other than that .rock on !

- no added weapon defense, general is all you get
- no weapon abiliites at all with just MCM/MSL, you'll have to pick up a marksman line
- low def, no accuracy with a weapon
If you just want to be support, and can stand to solo and wait a while for the target the burn then it would work.
it's a great combo for support... however with it you NEVER HAVE MIND... not to mention that from CM you draw to much agro to be an effictive SL..... i know some can multie task well enough to do both, but i'm not one of them....

nothing better then dotting, slowing, snareing, and lowering the mobs defence for a group ![]()
