Thread: How strong is Combat Medic?

I'm looking to combine a profession with Pistoleer... Combat Medic was my first choice because of area heals;
Just curious about its power... the pistoleer controls but doesnt do any real damage!
Let me know...

"Power" isn't the word most people use for CM, but that template is definately viable. Look at some of the posts by the pistoleer correspondent in this forum. He makes great use of the debuff lines and can do some great solo work. Your crowd control abilities with the two are great and thus you'll be a great help in groups...there are a lot of template threads in this forum. Read through them and see what fits you. One of the advantages of CM is it is a great compliment to any profession.

CM is a great profession as far as healing and its DoT attacks. Also you get a cool pistol with MCM...Could be nice with Master pistoleer.

go with it, add another master pistoleer master combat medic to the boards.... also read badger's posts(pistoleer corrispondent) for a lot of usefull information about combing the two profesions to max effectiviness... able to do both group and solo work, and piss off jedi... but keep that on the down low

CM is an excellent combo for any ranged template. Solo capability is through the roof.

CM rocks, but not from uber damage. Our nasty lil debuffs can make or break a fight though. And who doesn't love area heal in a large pve mob?????
Sorry, got a little sarcastic at the end there I die far more from area taunt, I mean heal, then I ever do in pvp.
