Thread: I'm going to respec to MCM and would like some advice.

After reading the boards for a couple days, I've decided to respec to MCM. Here's my question. I'm currently MRanger/MBH. I only have a couple good weapons. The pistol Boba gives for the reward (can't remember the name), a proton carbine and the scatter pistol. Do I respec to MCM/MBH or MCM/MPistols or MCM/MCarbines? I'd hate to throw away a perfectly good proton carbine or scatter pistol. I could use the Boba pistol at MPistols and I don't have a very good carbine outside of Nym's. What I'm saying is do I respec to fit the weapons I have or respec to a Master Pistols or Carbines template with MCM? MCM just seems too intersting to pass an opportunity to respec and play with it. Thanks.

All three templates have pros and cons, and theres a stickied template guide as well as many other discussions about various templates. I went with pistols and the carbine line in BH myself. I like it a lot, but the limited range isn't for everyone. I also find myself using a rifle more than I'd like.
However, I will say that you shouldnt chose a MCM complimentary profession based on the weapons you already have, but the templates themselves. You can always invest in having a gun made, but you're going to have to stick with a template for a while.

I figured it was silly to respec based on what weapons I have. Just needed someone to tell me.

also, the proton carbine and scatter are both bh certed wepons... so if your going based on your wepons you need to keep bh
