Thread: Need advice on armor
I am a Zabrak combat medic with 900 all 3 ham bars and very high willpower. I have not used any armor to date, but see the need to do so very soon. The reason I have not worn armor is my dislike for the attribute penalties.
I was wondering what kind of armor you all wear, wich positions you wear it in and when you wear it (PvP, PvE, all the time, take it off when healing only, etc)

full chitin without a helmet when i pvp or solo...
nothing when pve in grp or healing in the med center
I used to wear a mish mash combo of bone, tantel, mabari and padded (no helmet at all). It worked out pretty well for me. Recently I decided to go to no armor, though. I've done ok, though I do find myself with more wounds than I care for at times.
For medic purposes, I'd suggest getting your hands on some Tantel and chitin. Mix and match.
ST armor minus helmet when PvP in groups.
You can't heal mind damage, but goodstim B's will be able to keep up withalot ofhealth and action damage from a single attacker
oh and one more thing...
i saw this very interesing post about armor on the AS tread the other day about how effective armor really is in pvp and it was eye opening....
