Any idea why these two skills are in the Wound Treatment Speed line? Exactly what in the increase treatment speed has anything to do with the ability to use poison and disease kits? Disease needs to be moved to Wound Treatment Efficiency and reduced to a level 3 skill, and Poison moved to level 2 skill of Medical Use line.

maybe for balance who knows. Maybe they thought just the speed of healing wounds alone wasn't incentive for anyone totrain up this line.

Because if they weren't there nobody would ever become a master doctor. There's barely any incentive as it is. There is zero need for fast wound healing, so the line without the cures is completely useless.

Most people I know aren't even bothering with the line, just getting their wound treatment 4 to do rez's and putting the rest of their skill points into something useful. Whats the point of curing poison or disease, when you can just wait for it to run its course and treat the symptoms? You get a lot more xp that way anyways. The only bad disease I've seen is IF your group is fighting a critter that does disease, AND some member catches a disease that effects the mind pool, due to the idiotic limitation on doctors doing brain surgery (dancers are so much better equipped to cut your skull open and scoop out the bad parts).

probably because putting it in the treatment line would make the treatment line totally over powered...

since it already contains revive and many CMs get just that line for revive...

addition of cure line to those lines would totally hurt destroy CM poisons in PvP...since most CMs would be able to cure on sight...

so they decided to split the lines between the appliers and the curers...and then balance out the trees...

seems the devs hate adding anything to the med use lines considering that all 3 med use lines medic/CM/doc have only med use in them

a very well crafting poison or diease stim by a CM can kill you in a matter of minutes. As we see more CM using high quality stims like these the need for a MD for them will be important. people already see the effects of bleeding and I can tell you that it's nothing when compared to a adv poison stim.

All things make sense when the big picture is revived. I even wish the revive was a MD skill so that people didn't just need to train 2 columns to get that ability.

I absolutely agree that revive should be a master doctor skill.

Some higher level monsters use disease and poisons as well. You'll need it later on in your doctor career. Just not much right now.

I like Elenora's reasoning the best but here's another consideration (from the realism dept, sorry). Things like disease and poison are a progressively affective condition (ie they do damage over time). If you can't "keep up" with the rate of infection, or disease, or poisoning, then the condition could proceed to a worse state before you could apply your cure for the condition, hence negating the cure you're trying to apply.
