Combat Medic Archive

Hey all,

As the Subject reads, I've decided to forgoe Smuggler for Combat Medic/Pistoleer. As a result, I'm going to have some questions.

I'll start with this, regarding stat migration, does anyone have any suggestions of what I should do? Basically, I have the stats of a Human marksman ~1100 Health, ~900 Action, LOW Mind, a lot of Quickness, and Some Strength. I realize that I need to increase my Mind, and probably my Willpower(?), but how far, and to sacrifice what? I still want to have the abilities of a Pistoleer, so I think the Action and Quick are needed. So, sacrifice Health and Strength? [sorry I don't have exact numbers, but I'm at work]

I am a Master CM/Pistoleer. First off I believe Sta regens the mind faster, so more STA you have faster it regens. I believe this to be true because when I wear my Comp helm/BP my Sta drops to around 0 and my regen on mind is MUCH slower.

I keep my stats as follows:

1100 Health

1100 Action

1000 Mind

All sec stats are at lowest setting which are 300ish. I dont wear armor often because I hate the stat loss and have found whether I have armor on or off, I die about the same either way. If anything, Ill wear a Chest piece and helm just cause most attacks target those areas, at least when I PvsP. Definitely need mind to be a CM

if you're a medic, screw stamina... heal yourself. I ditch all my stamina in favor of strength, and high quickness I think (the non-regen stat for action). you dont need regen stats if you can heal yourself, simple as that. concentrate on the "armor secondaries" and sacrifice some health. 8-900. you dont need a large volume of mind (mines only 800) if you have good secondaries...

yeah, I keep just enough secondaries to wear vest, bracers, and hat for armor (as aforementioned those are the areas most attacked in pvp) and thats it for stamina and concentration.
